Aplix delivers Java^TM terminal test suite to China Mobile

Tokyo, Japan -May 1, 2009-

Aplix Corporation announced today that iaSolution Inc., an Aplix company, has completed the development of the Java^TM terminal test suite for China Mobile Communications Corporation. This test suite, China Mobile Extension Test Suite 4.1 (CETS 4.1), is compatible with China Mobile Java specification 4.1 and demonstrates Aplix’s outstanding expertise on Java technology and its commitment to drive the evolution of the mobile industry in China.

Aplix, a world leader in delivering software innovations, has been cooperating with China Mobile since the development of China Mobile Extension Test Kit 3.0 (CETK 3.0) in 2005, and later helped define its Java specification 4.1 in 2007. In 2008, the company was chosen as China Mobile’s exclusive partner for the development of CETS 4.1. CETS 4.1 consists of test cases for verifying whether a mobile terminal meets the requirement of China Mobile Java specification 4.1, and a test server for releasing test cases, collecting test results, and creating test reports. China Mobile has announced CETS 4.1 to handset manufacturers and targets official operation in the middle of 2009.

With proven experience in enabling Java on China Mobile’s numerous co-branded handsets and supporting the successful implementation of CETS 3.0, Aplix will continue to work closely with handset manufacturers to bring more advanced Java features and services to the market.
