Aplix announces JBlend™ for LiMo™ JLBE

Tokyo, Japan -February 16, 2009-

Aplix Corporation (TSE: 3727) announced today its JBlend™ for LiMo™ devices solution. Java™ Language Based Environment (JLBE) for LiMo brings the power of Java Micro Edition to the LiMo platform. Our first JLBE for LiMo implementation supports CLDC, MIDP 2, WMA, MMAPI, JTWI, and JSR 75 FC.

JLBE for LiMo is the first of a series of Java Language based solutions powered by Aplix Corporation’s JBlend product for the LiMo Foundation platform. JLBE for LiMo will have support for full JME MSA stacks in Q3/2009. JBlend is a software platform capable of smoothly and securely executing Java applications within digital devices such as mobile phones.

Aplix’s JBlend for LiMo JLBE enables the Java community of JME developers to deploy their market proven Java applications to LiMo devices.

JLBE for LiMo is fully compliant to the Java Community Process specifications and allows developers to utilize existing developer toolkits and IDE's, such as Eclipse, to develop and deploy Java Language based applications for this new class of Linux based mobile devices.
