Aplix’s Okinawa Evaluation Center
renamed to Okinawa Office
By designating the office as one of its three development centers in Japan, Aplix intends to foster IT human resources locally in Okinawa

Tokyo, Japan–February 13 , 2009-

Aplix Corporation (TSE: 3727) announced today that its OkinawaEvaluationCenter is renamed to ‘Okinawa Office’ and will extend its role as a development center.

With the new name and extended function of the Okinawa Office, Aplix now has three development centers in major locations in Japan; Tokyo, Yokosuka, and Okinawa.The Okinawa Office has been an integral part of developing the company’s innovative solutions for the emerging markets and is currently working on solutions for Symbian OS.By actively hiring talented engineers locally in Okinawa and providing them with the company’s knowledge and expertise in global software development, Aplix intends to contribute to the fostering of IT human resources in Okinawa.
