GEMINI MOBILE AND APLIX JOIN FORCES TO BRING GEMINI'S EXPLO™ TO WIRELESS MARKETPLACE
TOKYO, JAPAN - November 06, 2006-
Gemini Mobile Technologies, a developer of wireless software, today announced it has entered into a collaboration with Aplix Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 3727), the global leader in deploying JavaT technology in mobile phones, to integrate and distribute its new eXplo T platform. eXplo T is a revolutionary software platform designed to enable users to chat, share photos, play and shop in 3D worlds on their wireless phones.
The eXplo platform has been integrated into Aplix's JBlend T Java platform that is embedded on the popular Sharp handsets powering Softbank Mobile's recently announced S!Town service. Gemini plans to evolve eXplo as one of Aplix's handset turnkey offerings in the near future.
