Aplix and Quanta Form Partnership for 3G Java™ Solution

TOKYO, JAPAN - June 2, 2006 -

Aplix Corporation (TSE: 3727), the global leader in deploying Java technology in mobile phones, announced today that its JBlend™ Java platform has been selected by Quanta Computer lnc. (RIC: 2382.TW) (Quanta) as their preferred Java solution on Qualcomm's platform targeting US and European operators markets.

Aplix has a very comprehensive Java roadmap, especially with regards to advanced Java requirements from different 3G operators. With the JBlend on BREW® pre-integration announcement last year, Aplix's comprehensive 3G roadmap, along with the pre-integrated version of JBlend, will bring a faster time-to-market advantage to Quanta with cutting edge Java features to meet the most complicated operators' specifications in the world.
