China Mobile Unveils its 3.0 Java Specification with Associated Toolkit (CETK)

TOKYO, JAPAN - SEPTEMBER 29, 2005 -

iaSolution Inc. announced today that with China Mobile Communication Corporation's (CMCC) recently unveiled 3.0 Java specification, the associated CMCC Extension ToolKit (CETK) provided by iaSolution has been made available to content providers and handset manufacturers. CMCC's 3.0 Java specification was developed based on international standards, with additional functions tailored for the local market. The specification is segmented into high, mid and low tiers targeting different market requirements.

Since March of 2005, when CMCC selected iaSolution as the exclusive supplier of the CETK to ensure compatibility with CMCC extensions over the next 2 years, iaSolution has supported CMCC to develop its 3.0 Java specification. In addition, iaSolution created an upgraded version of the CETK to enable such compatibility. The toolkit is able to support multiple languages, different screen sizes, and interruption of incoming mobile phone events and most importantly, it is very easy to use.

"iaSolution will continue to provide our unique set of capabilities to support CMCC in pursuit of its Java strategy. Currently, we are working with several local handset manufacturers to integrate our Java solution based on CMCC's 3.0 Java specification and we expect these phones will be shipped to the market soon," said Wesley Kuo, President of iaSolution Inc.

iaSolution has been a recognized leader of Java in the region since it was founded in 2000. The integration with Aplix was finalized in August 2004. The merged company's JBlend™ platform has shipped in more than 129 million mobile phones on over 200 phone models as of June 2005.
