Aplix Deploys JBlend™ in the First Commercial Handset using Intel's PXA 800F processor
TOKYO, JAPAN - AUGUST 1, 2005 -
TOKYO, JAPAN - AUGUST 1, 2005 - Aplix Corporation (TSE: 3727) announced today that its JBlend™ Java™ platform is deployed in O2's XM music phone (from Jutland based FL Telecom), the first mobile phone based on Intel 2.5G cellular processor platform. With Aplix's optimized JBlend™ and Intel XScaleŽ technology, the phone is positioned as a multimedia device supporting Java 3D games, video and music playback with up to 1,000 tracks on the memory card.
