iaSolution awarded CETK Contract by China Mobile

Tokyo, JAPAN, Mar 22, 2005 -

iaSolution Inc., an affiliate company of Aplix Corporation, (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; CEO Ryu Koriyama), announced today that China Mobile Communication Corporation (CMCC) - the world’s largest mobile operator - selected iaSolution as the exclusive supplier to provide a CMCC extension toolkit (CETK) to ensure all Java™ applications running on its terminals are compatible with CMCC extensions defined under her Java Terminal specifications for the next 2 years.

The CETK is at the center of CMCC’s strategy for enabling content providers early access to its extensions and common Java features. Given both the experience and expertise at iaSolution, CMCC selected iaSolution as the best company to enable its future Java vision through developer tools such as the CETK.

To ensure long-term business relationship with CMCC and handset manufacturers, in addition to our established Shanghai chapter iaSolution Technology (Shanghai) Limited, we have been granted by the Beijing Government lately to open our Beijing office to provide a combination of high-value, cost effective products and solutions that enables our key partners like CMCC and customers in the Northern China region to reduce their time to market.

iaSolution has been a recognized leader of Java in the region since it was founded in 2000. The integration with Aplix was finalized in August 2004. The merged company’s JBlend™ platform has shipped in more than 92 million mobile phones and consumer electronics devices, and has been licensed by 30 companies on over 175 phone models as of December 2004.
