JBlend [micro] Plug-in
JBlend [micro] Plug-in for Eclipse IDE
Aplix is releasing a new Eclipse (www.eclipse.org) IDE plug-in for FREE (thus no support) to developers using JBlend [micro] device emulator (JBlend.exe) so that they can develop Java ME applications conforming CLDC 1.1. (JSR-139) and MIDP 2.0 (JSR-118) more easily.
The plug-in is beneficial to JBlend SDK developers and provides additional functionalities for application development using Eclipse:
- Enables automatic pre-verifying of a created class file, and generation of a JAR file and JAD file for the file.
- Supports editing of JAD files and manifest files.
- Enables running of Java applications on the device emulator.
- Enables source-level debugging of Java applications running on the device emulator.
Moreover, the JBlend [micro] Plug-in comes with a tool for creating certificate store files for SSL communication. This tool makes it possible to import your own root certificate into the device emulator.
